Following the success of the two previous Summer Schools on the use of Environmental Scanning Electron Microscope for analysing wood samples, organised in collaboration with the Ecole Supérieure du Bois in, Nantes, France, InnovaWood are pleased to announce that this course will take place once again between the 21st and 23rd June. Details are given in the summer school brochure.
The final demonstration of CTC project which took place from 8 to 18th April at mall "Centro Brianza" located in Paderno Dugnano (Milan) was successfully completed. More than 300 contacts with different customers’ profiles were made. Such customers were involved in the product configuration and in mini factory visit. About 50 different pieces of furniture have been configured by customers and directly produced by the CTC working centre located in the parking area of the mall.
The CTC (Close to Customer) project will present a new business concept of the CTC mini-factory during the DEMO event which will take place from 8-18th of April 2016 in the Brianza Shopping Center (Paderno Dugnano,Milan). The two areas of the center will be dedicated respectively to the configuration of desired furniture through a tablet application, and to its realization inside the CTC mini-factory.
COST Action FP1105 "Understanding wood cell wall structure, biopolymer interaction and composition: implications for current products and new material innovation" is organising a 5-day international training school. It is the final event of the COST Action with a focus on addressing key scientific challenges posed by the Action.
