The InnovaWood RTDI Division organizes the Creativity Workshop on Societal challenges for the Forest-wood sector. The workshop will take place as part of the three days General Assembly events programme. This event aims to define potential research, development and innovation opportunities created by the grand societal challenges in Europe for the InnovaWood sector.

COST Domain “Forests, their Products and Services” in conjunction with the Forest-based Sector Technology Platform (FTP), InnovaWood (wood technology), EFPRO (pulp and paper research), and EFI (forestry) is inviting Young Researchers1 to present their research results as well as ongoing and planned research in conjunction with the upcoming 8th FTP Conference in Barcelona .

On 15 May 2012 the FTP and COST together with InnovaWood, EFI and EFPRO organised the FTP-COST brokerage event at Munich Airport.

The event was very successful with a lot of participants from research and industry. The potential call topics to be launched under FP7 were presented, they can be consulted via the link in this article. Moreover, 50 presentations were delivered by research organisations presenting their research ideas and R&D capacities. These presentations can be consulted as well via this article.
