In continuation of the repeating success in the four previous conference events in Bordeaux and the last one in Biarritz, FCBA is organizing the 6th edition of the International Symposium on Wood Fibre Polymer Composites, which will take place on September 23-24, 2013, in Biarritz, France.

The 2013 conference event will focus on opportunities for innovative wood based composites used in Building and Furniture sectors and other sectors contributing to the Green Growth and Bioeconomy.

The 8th FTP conference, held in Barcelona on 12-­‐13 March, saw the launch of the forest-­‐based sector’s revised Vision for 2030 and renewed Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda for 2020 (SRA).

 In connection with the InnovaWood & UNECE/FAO Forestry and Timber Seminar “Innovation in the Forest-Based Sector – Prerequisite for the Green Economy” and the InnovaWood General Assembly a poster session is organised.

We are pleased to announce that the 11th InnovaWood General Assembly will take place in Geneva, on 23rd April, 2013. The event will offer varied programme including two back to back events: the InnovaWood and UNECE/FAO seminar on innovation in the Forest-Based Sector and the RTD creativity workshop on societal challenges for the Forest-wood sector.
