Following the success of the two previous Summer Schools on the use of Environmental Scanning Electron Microscope for analysing wood samples, organised in collaboration with the Ecole Supérieure du Bois in, Nantes, France, InnovaWood are pleased to announce that this course will take place once again between the 21st and 23rd June. Details are given in the summer school brochure.

COST Action FP1105 "Understanding wood cell wall structure, biopolymer interaction and composition: implications for current products and new material innovation" is organising a 5-day international training school. It is the final event of the COST Action with a focus on addressing key scientific challenges posed by the Action.

We are very pleased to announce the 14th InnovaWood General Assembly will take place from 16-17th March, in Montpellier, France.

This year InnovaWood General Assembly will be hosted by our member CIRAD.

The consortium of the W³B "What We Wood Believe - Societal Perceptions of the Forest-Based Sector” project will be organising the project workshop with objective to recap the findings from the project research and present brand new results on the perception of tailored communication tools. The event will take place on Thursday, April 7th, 2016 University of Life Sciences Vienna, Austria. 

In 2016, the Forest Products and Timber Construction Department - Salzburg University of Applied Sciences - will organize, with international partners, two significant scientific events:

- WCTE2016, August 22nd and 25th, Viena, Austria,   organised in collaboration with the Forest Products Society, Section Europe (FPSE, with headquarter in Kuchl), 

-  the 4th edition of the Processing Technologies for the Forest and Biobased Products Industries Conference (PTFBPI), 8th and 9th November, St. Simons Isl., United States of America.
