NEWSFLASH: Eco-Innovation Deadline Extended

Due to a technical problem with the electronic proposal submission service (EPSS) on the 9th September 2009 applicants may have experienced difficulties submitting their project proposals for the 2009 Eco-Innovation call. In response to this incident the deadline for submissions has now been extended to Tuesday, 15th September 2009, at 17:00 CET.

Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a pilot project initiated by the European Union (EU). It aims at helping new entrepreneurs to acquire relevant skills for managing a small or medium-sized enterprise (SMEs) by spending time in a business in another EU country. It contributes to improving their know-how and fosters cross-border transfers of knowledge and experience between entrepreneurs.

Ideas for simplifying the implementation of the EU RTD Framework Programmes

In 2010, the Commission intends to publish a Communication on possibilities for simplifying the implementation of the EU RTD Framework Programme(s). For gathering ideas and suggestions from stakeholders, Commission has opened an online consultation. The online questionnaire is accessible here
All stakeholders are welcome with their suggestions.

FTP Joint Partnering Event in Vienna, 15th May 2009

On Friday May 15th an FTP Joint Partnering Event took place in Austria’s Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management, in Vienna. The focus of the event was on the FP7 topics expected in the work programmes to be published this summer. Additional information concerning the open calls in the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme and the SET Plan was also provided.
