The Horizon 2020 calls for proposals 2015 are open, but many are forthcoming.
Just as in the previous years the FTP is organizing FTP joint partnering event on Thursday 13 November 2014 in Munich airport.

The event offers a unique opportunity to obtain actual information on topics of the (upcoming) calls in Horizon 2020. In comparison to the previous years this year’s event is offering even more partnering opportunities: the programme has less general interest presentations and longer networking breaks. Of course, flash presentations and dynamic brokerage sessions will be repeated during which participants can present ideas for European projects and discuss them with potential partners. They will also have the opportunity to give feedback and to support and supplement each other’s ideas. Usually such events are starting points for building consortia and core planning teams in order to submit research proposals at a later stage. Additionally, participants are invited to present and discuss ideas and proposals for COST Actions.

In order to make it easier and more efficient for participants to organise their own bilateral meetings, it has been set up a comprehensive registration form where participants can give their topics of interest, referring to the now well-known list of “Topics of Interest for the Forest-based Sector”, regularly up-dated under http://www.forestplatform.org/files/Topics_for_FTP_stakeholders_-_Update_Aug_2014.pdf .

After closing registrations the list of attendees will be sent to all participants, allowing them to know in advance who’s interested in what so that the bilateral meetings with potential partners can be organised on time. The FTP Joint Partnering Event has become a well-supported and much appreciated annual feature over the past years, with last year seeing a record number of participants.
