On 15 May 2012 the FTP and COST together with InnovaWood, EFI and EFPRO organised the FTP-COST brokerage event at Munich Airport.

The event was very successful with many participants from research and industry.

The event started with a welcome and a presentation of the state of the art in the Forest-based Sector Technology Platform by Johan Elvnert. Following, Melae Langbein, the Domain officer of the COST FPS Domain, gave an overview of COST and the activities within our domain.

The presentation on potential call topics to be launched in July 2012 was made by Martin Greimel, the FP7 Task Force Leader of FTP.

After the plenary session 2 parallel sessions were organised during which every participant had the opportunity to present his research capacities or ideas for future projects in a short flash presentation. This part was very successful with 50 presentations. The InnovaWood Secretariat provided a presentation as well presenting the InnovaWood network and the upcoming call for Transnational Accesses in the Trees4Future capacities project.
