The European Commission has presented a Green Paper which proposes major changes to EU research and innovation funding to make participation easier, increase scientific and economic impact and provide better value for money. The changes, to be introduced in the next EU budget after 2013 (post-Framework Programme 7), would bring together the current Framework Programme for research, the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology.
The Commission is seeking feedback on these proposed changes and on the specific questions set out in the Green Paper. Feedback and views can be submitted via the special website
On the website you can contribute your personal feedback on the Green Paper. Apart from your personal input on the website InnovaWood is preparing an opinion paper in order to give more substancial weight to our voice as a group. This InnovaWood feedback on the green paper will be used to provide the FTP with an input from the Wood research community in Europe. The InnovaWood opinion paper will be sent to you soon for your consultation and could be a support for filling in your personal feedback on the Green Paper feedback website.
The deadline for submission of the feedbacks is set on 20th May
